Rule # 58: Stay Grounded!
The definition of ground: 1) the foundation or basis on which a belief or action rests; reason or cause. 2) well balanced. What grounds you? What is it that gives you purpose and meaning in your life? What keeps you anchored and focused on achieving your goals and dreams? What helps you maintain balance and peace on a daily basis? You need to know the answers to the above questions because they will provide you guidance for what truly will keep you grounded in your life. Being grounded means you live fully present in your life, not obsessing over the past or your future. This allows you to live in the NOW so that you are able to be fully conscious and aware of your SELF and all that is happening around you. So…regardless of the circumstances and challenges that come your way, you are able to stay balanced, centered, and aligned to your higher self, your VISION, and purpose. This will ground you as a person to know who you are, what your true values and beliefs are and how you can live out your purpose on a daily basis.
Exercise # 58: Stay Grounded! – Answer the above questions and strive to stay grounded in your life. Live your life in the NOW focused on your purpose. Don’t sweat the small stuff or even the big stuff! Staying committed to your purpose will carry you through the challenges that come your way.
