Rule #28: Rest
In honor of National Napping Day, today’s Love Vision Rule is to rest. Seriously…this is a national holiday! Every year the day following daylight savings time is observed as National Napping Day. It’s a fact that rest can make you live longer, feel better, and improve your mood. When you take care of yourself and give your body the adequate amount of rest, you will end of being more productive and energetic. In today’s world, we are non-stop on the go! We find it hard to even fit in six hours of sleep a night. When we skip out on our z’sss and the needed rest that our body requires, we suffer physically, mentally, and emotionally. This leaves us feeling tired, sad, exhausted, and depleted. You’re totally a Superhero! But remember, all Superhero’s must be well-rested to take on the challenges of the world and to help others. Commit today to make it a priority to give your body the rest that it requires. Everybody’s body is different and required a certain amount of rest, sleep, and self-care. It’s your job to give your body what it needs so that you can be your best self now and live fully present in your life.
Exercise #27- Rest: Give yourself permission today and every-day to give your body the rest that it needs. Your mind, body, and soul will reap the benefits.
