Rule #8: Be Positive
Be positive. There is power in positivity. You have the decision each and every day to choose to be either positive or negative. It’s that simple. One choice. This one choice creates your present and future reality. Thinking, speaking, and believing positive thoughts allows you to move forward in your life and create that which it is that you truly desire. It gives you the freedom to pursue your dreams, regardless of your past and current circumstances. Being positive enables you to view the world from a place of love as opposed to fear. I talk a lot about this in my new book- “Love Vision.” For when you choose to be positive, you are given a new perspective in which to view yourself, others, and the world. This positive perspective will enable you to have more love, hope, and faith in your life. This magical trio “love, faith, and hope” produces miracles.
It will give you the strength to navigate through the roadblocks in your life. Instead of viewing the difficult situations, circumstances, challenges, and people in your life as “doom and gloom”, you can strive to view them as lessons, teachers, and opportunities for growth. Some are extremely negative, and I can’t deny that. Although, we can strive to find the light, love, and grace that we need to face whatever difficulty it is that we are going through. When we do this, we will inspire others. A huge bonus of living a positive life is that you’re able to see the opportunities, resources, and support that surrounds you. Positivity is kind of like binoculars…in the fact that enables you to look at the big picture of your life, but it also allows you to zoom in and examine that which requires your utmost attention and action. Positivity is a key ingredient of a passionate, perseverant, and purposeful life. Just like a seed, when it is watered daily and given enough sunlight…it will grow and blossom into the beautiful creation that it was destined to be. The same is true for you :)
Exercise #8- Be Positive: Choose one thing or several things that are positive in your life. Spend 5 minutes today meditating on these things and the joy, peace, and fulfillment that they give to you. Focus your meditation on channeling a grateful heart. Commit to thinking, speaking, and believing positive thoughts every day and take action on the guidance that you receive from them. Ask, Believe, and Receive.
